Unravelling events In the last 24 hours are confirming the fact that all is not well with the All Progressives Congress in Ondo state, can confirm.

While Our correspondent observed within the state capital city and the central cenatorial district on Friday, the endless waiting of party members at the various voting centers without election. The Party announced that there were elections across the state.

A press statement signed by the state Publicity secretary of the Party, Mr. Alex Kalejaye reads thus;

"The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has conducted a transparent and peaceful primaries to pick its National and State Assembly flagbearers in the next general elections."

"The exercise was carried out with the full participation of the stakeholders and party members, in line with the directives of the National Executive Committee in Abuja."

"The State Chairman of the party, Engnr. Ade Adetimehin, commended all it members for their maturity and peaceful conduct during the exercise. "

"Adetimehin urged them to continue to stand by the party, assuring that all grievances would be genuinely looked into to avoid internal wrangling." He wrote.

However, the obvious reality is a clear contradict of the Above statement, as concerned stakeholders in the Party have reacted in the contrary.

Mr. Rotimi Ogunleye, a leader in the party wrote on facebook as follows:

"Imagine the figures that are been bandied in Ondo state whereas, no primary election took place; direct or indirect. Sad!"

Another stakeholder who also doubles as aspirant, Mr. Adebiyi Mayowa also gave his account of the Friday event as follows:

"Election did not take place in Akoko Southwest State constituency ll, the only ward where election took place was Ikun Akoko ward 9 and I won convincingly, I want to say with all emphasis that it will be a thing of shame and disappointment on the integrity of our party and the leadership of Engr. Ade Adetimehin in Ondo State if what is expected to be an open processes of the party can be tampered and manipulated with impunity."

"I won't accept what people are peddling around that Engr. Ade Adetimehin sat within the confine of his house to write names of candidates albeit inordinate inducements and nepotism against democratic protocols and the constitutional rights of the members of the party to freely chose their candidates.."
"I will address the press after the official announcement."

Mayowa Adebiyi ANGELMAYOR…

Again, Nigerian Cable News Online can confirm that an APC aspirant has on Saturday gathered a group of his loyalists in Akoko southwest ward 9 and some other wards, to hold a false primary, after the time limit given by the Party's National Working Committee has elapsed on Friday.

It is however yet to be clear, if Ondo state APC will survive the looming crises that will surely spring up from the final announcement of candidates, that will made after the Party's questionable primary process.
