The governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu on Sunday he takes directives from his biological Son on almost all state decisions.
Akeredolu said this at the occasion of the 2018 Youth Day Celebration held at the state Cultural center in Akure.
The governor who charged the Youths to contest for political leadership positions in the country added that they must all come up with new initiatives to challenge the status quo.
"There is nothing special in this, I'm most times led by my sons on all decisions, because I know they are much more informed and enlightened" He said.
Akeredolu, who restated his alliance with the new #NotTooYoungToRun Bill however advised the Youths to wait until President Buhari is through with his second term in Year 2023 Before they contest for his office. So that they can inherited the 'solid' foundation the President is Presently laying.
The governor was at the occasion, decorated as the grand patron of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in Ondo state by the state Chairman, Comrade Esther Owoeye.
Accompanied by his deputy (Bar. Agboola Ajayi), the Secretary to the state government (Mr. Ifedayo Abegunde) and other state functionaries. The governor concluded by imploring the youths in Ondo state to abstain from using the various groups and confraternities to which they may belong for negative and detrimental activities. He added that their gatherings should be for development and productive purposes to themselves and the society.
