The Ondo Kingdom, Bagbe born politician, Adelosoye Maxwell Ademola (AMA), has officially declared his intention to contest for the Ondo West Constituency II in the forthcoming Ondo State House of Assembly polls under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The unveiling which was preceded by a procession from Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Secretariat located at Yaba, Ondo City witnessed huge turn out of party faithfuls especially from the rural communities. Hon. Maxwell Adelosoye was well received by the ADC Chairman, Ondo West Local Government Mr. Olaoluwa Oladapo AKA National, Hon. Abiola Makinde (HAM) and a host of other party leaders in the kingdom.
In his speech the leading Aspirant, who is by far the most popular candidate due to his pedigree and antecedent informed the teeming crowd of his intention to contest, which he noted was borne out of service to his constituents, effective representation and his resolve to contribute to development of the constituency especially the people of the rural community and to make life better for the masses. He solicited for their support and promised not to renege on his campaign promises.
AMA also added that the it is the right time for the youths, Who constitutes over 70 percent of the countries population to take over the mantle of leadership. According to him, the ADC is a viable platform, duely recognised as the credible alternative and the only Major Political Party that constitutionally preserve 30% political position for the youths, its therefore a no-brainer decision to choose the party.
The crown prince of ancient Bagbe Town in Ondo kingdom, thanked people from Ondo Constituency II who turned out en masse for the massive support accorded him and also charged the gathering to keep faith in Hon. Abiola Makinde (HAM), which he described as a rare leader with a very large heart. He thereafter saluted other party leaders for piloting the affairs of the party in a unique way, which has made the great party a cynosure of all eyes in Ondo Kingdom.
In his remark, the Party Chairman showered encomium on AMA for coming out to contest on the party platform and urged the crowd to continue to support AMA and other Aspirants on the platform of the Party.
