Court remands Khadijat Oluboyo’s alleged killer

An Akure Magistrate Court has remanded in Prison,  Seidu Adeyemi, alleged killer of Khadijat Oluboyo, daughter of ex-Deputy Governor of Ondo state, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo.

Seidu was remanded by Chief Magistrate Bob Manuel Victoria after he was arraigned by the police on a two Count charge of conspiracy and murder.

The police prosecutor Sergeant Adebayo Mary told the court that since it was a murder case the court had no jurisdiction and pleaded for his remand in prison.


Counsel to the suspect, Taiwo Gbadebo did not oppose this application.

In her ruling, Magistrate Bob Manuel ordered the remand of the suspect in Olokuta till the 23rd August 2018 for review pending advice from the director of public prosecution.

She also directed the police the hand over original copies of his case file to the chief registrar.
