Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has reappointed all 18 local government caretaker chairmen recently sacked in the state.
Their reappointment follows the approval by the state house of assembly to Akeredolu's request to have them returned.
Speaking at plenary on Thursday, House Speaker, Bamidele Oleyelogun directed all Directors of local administrations in the 18 local governments to hand over to the returned chairmen.
SUNSHINE HERALD had earlier reported the dissolution of the caretaker committees across the 18 local governments in state in a bid believed to pave way for the conduct of local government election.
The chairmen before their sack last week had spent one year in office.
Governor Akeredolu had on Tuesday administered oath of office to new members of the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission led by Prof. Yomi Dinakin.
