Akeredolu sets up 30-man committee for first year anniversary

The governor of Ondo state, Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN has approved the setting up of a 30-man committee for the first year anniversary celebration of the All Progressives Congress, APC-led government in Ondo state.

In a statement made available to newsmen on Monday, Mr. Olugbenga Ale, Chief of Staff to the governor, the committee is expected to plan and execute a weeklong celebration spanning Monday 19th to Sunday 25th February 2018.

He said, "The terms of feference of the committee are as follows:


"To organise Mr. Governor's media chat on  the anniversary.

"To make suggestions for the anniversary lecture and  the guest lecturer.

"To identify completed projects for commissioning and new projects for flag off.

"To organise Jumat and Church thanksgiving services.

"To determine the invited/special guests for each programme.

"To arrange anniversary political rally (UNIFICATION RALLY) for the grand finale.

"To determine the cost implication for the programmes and any other matters as may be determined by the committee."

To chair the committee is Mr. Wale Akinterinwa, state commissioner for Finance while Mrs. Taiwo Kolawole, a permanent secretary in the state civil service is the secretary.

Members of the committee include Mr. Femi Agagu, commissioner for Education, Science and Technology; Mr. Yemi Olowolabi, commissioner for Information and Orientation; Mr. Solagbade Amodeni, commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development and Mrs Omowunmi Olatunji-Edet, commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development.

Other members of the committee are Engr. Raimi Olayiwola Aminu, Mrs. Olubunmi Olubukola Ademosu, Mr. Akinboboye Taiwo Oyewumi, Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye, Mr. Alaba Isijola, Mr. Tunji Fabiyi, Princess Oladunni Odu, Mr. Gbenga Edema, Mr. Kunle Adebayo, Alhaji Jimoh Dojumo, and Mr. Tosin Ogunbodede.

Also on the list are; Mr. Ade Adetimehin, Mrs.  Omodara  Atiba, Mr. F. O. Osedinbola, Mr. Paul Oyeto, Omooba Abayomi Adesanya, Mr. Ikoto Atili, Mr. Victor Ojo Alalabiaye, Mr. Allen Sowore, Mr. Banji Adewumi, Olutayo Babatayo, Mrs. Lanre Helen Oyelade, Mrs. Tola Awoh, Mr. Olayato Aribo and Mr. Bolakale Daodu.
