TUC to Sowore: Go and sit down you are just a glorified messenger, over excited by appointment

The Trade Union Congress has labeled the Special Assitant to Ondo Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on New Media Allen Sowore as a glorified messenger, saying it would not belittle itself responding to him.

Com. Ekundayo Soladoye while speaking with SUNSHINE HERALD on a statement by Sowore accusing the Union leaders of fighting the governor because he stopped payment of their N50,000 sitting allowance, said they will only respond to comments from five offices in the state.

"Yes we have, but we will not belittle our congress by reacting to issues raised by a glorified messenger. We can only join issues with five persons/offices: Mr governor, deputy governor head of service, S.A. labour and commissioners.

"Allen is too fragile for the labour movement. He is just overexcited by his position."

The TUC had in a statement it released on Wednesday accused the state government of "its "unfair labour practice and anti-workers' policies", giving it  seven days to meet their demands or they will withdraw their services across the state.

The workers' union also accused the government of a deliberate attempt to short charge workers in the state by not being willing to meet labour leaders on issues that concern workers in the state.
