Police in Ondo State have arrested two suspected car snatchers believed to have waylaid their victim and made a way with a Range Rover Jeep and a BMW car.

While parading the suspects in Akure, the force spokesperson, Mr Femi Joseph said the robbers numbering about six attacked Napoleon Isaacs, a car dealer along Ilesa/Akure road on his way back from Lagos.

He was beaten blue black and dragged into the bush by the criminals before the car keys was forcefully taken from him.

He explained further that the Range Rover Jeep worth millions of naira was later sold by the culprits at the sum of Eight hundred thousand naira only.

He noted that the police later nabbed two suspects: Ezenwa Rapheal and Chukwudi Omruma in connection with the case of the stolen vehicle at separate locations in Ogun and Lagos.

"Mr. Isaacs was coming from Lagos to Akure with his brand new Range Rover Jeep 2007 model and BMW Jeep 2005 model – both vehicles yet unregistered- when the hoodlums waylaid him at gun point and robbed him of the two vehicles.

He, however, sought more robust partnership with the members of the public to furnish the police command with information about the nefarious activities in the state.

The Police also paraded other suspects arrested for various offences.

This included a two-man robbery gang who invaded the house of Mr. Ifanegan Isaacs at Olafenwa Quarters in Ilu-Titun in Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state.

"The gang robbed him [Isaacs] at gun point of Nisan Almera Reg. No KTU 309 AX and also carted away the sum of Ninety Thousand Naira".
