ONDO POLICE NAB TWO OVER ALLEGED KILLING OF ADEYEMI COLLEGE STUDENT FOR RITUALS

A female student of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo has been allegedly used for money rituals by three middle aged men in the town.

The student, names withheld, had been declared missing by her friends for some days after she was said to have reportedly left home and did not return..

Luck however ran against her alleged kidnappers after one of them was nabbed in a robbery operation during which it was discovered that he and other suspects were linked to the kidnap of the missing student.

This led to the arrest of one of the other suspects while third one is still at large.

While confirming the incident to www.orangefm.com.ng spokesperson for the Ondo Police command, Femi Joseph said the mutilated and decomposing body of the student have been recovered by detectives who are also grilling the suspects.

Joseph said the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of investigation and called on parents, guardians and caregivers to always monitor the movement of the their wards.

"We have arrested two suspects  in connection with the killing of  the victim for money ritual."

"The suspects confessed to mutilating the body of the victim for ritual purposes.
"Police investigation is however ongoing to apprehend the remaining fleeing suspect." Joseph said.‎
