All the 18 commissioners designate in Ondo state will on Wednesday know the portfolios they will be assigned in helping to drive Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu's strategic agenda.
A statement by Governor Akeredolu's Chief Press Secretary, Segun Ajiboye said the commissioners designate will be sworn in at The international Event Center, The Dome, Akure, the state capital.
The appointment of the 18 Commissioners designate was confirmed by the House of Assembly on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Governor Akeredolu has approved the appointment of Rt. Hon. Oluwasegunota Bolarinwa as his Senior Special Assistant on Legislative Matters to replace Rt. Hon. Taofeek Abdusallam, who has been appointed as commissioner.
His appointment takes effect from August 31, 2017.
Also, the governor approved the elevation of Mrs. Bunmi Ademosu and Mr. Boye Oyewunmi as Special Advisers.
Ademosu and Oyewunmi were earlier Senior Special Assistants on Public & Inter Government Relations and Development & Investment respectively.
Ajiboye said the latest developments is part of moves to ensure accelerated development in all the nooks and crannies of the state.
