President Muhammadu Buhari's media team Saturday visited him in London, UK, where he has been for the last three months on health reasons.'
The delegation to the Abuja House was led by the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed. Also part of the trip was Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Senior Special Assistant Media & Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, Special Adviser Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina and the President's Personal Assistant Digital/Online Media Lauretta Onochie.
Buhari could be seen in photos receiving a greeting card from the team, which reads "Get well soon".
A statement has been released by the media team, reassuring Nigerians that the President is doing fine, although no date for his return was confirmed.
"I feel I could go home, but the doctors are in charge. I've now learnt to obey orders, rather than be obeyed," Buhari said according to the statement.
"What we did in The Gambia early this year fetched us a lot of goodwill on the African continent. It gave us a lot of latitudes. I thank all those who are praying. May God reward them."
