The Resident Electoral Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in Ondo state, Barrister Mutiu Agboke says the achievements of his predecessor, Mr Olusegun Agbaje is such a remarkable one that might be hard to surpass.
He however said with the support of all the workers of the commission in the state, he would match the achievements and even do better.
Barrister Agboke was speaking at a reception organized by the commission for the former REC, Olusegun Agbaje and an ex- Administrative Secretary, Alhaji Kabir Omosanya.
He however said his administration would leverage on the achievements of Agbaje and Omosanya to further reposition the commission to better deliver its mandate of credible elections.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Agbaje attributed his success in office to the unprecedented support of the workers especially during the 2016 governorship election.
Also speaking, Alhaji Omosanya thanked the commission for giving him a befitting send off after a meritous service in INEC.
