In a tweet Friday morning on N-Power twitter handle, @npower_ng, the programme explained that submission of application does not conclude the process.
The clarification might be in response to the perception of those who believe their entry for the programme guarantees a placement.
N-Power tweeted "To avoid some of the issues of the 2016 applications, 2017 applicants will have to go through the process listed below. (i.e aside application and BVN validation, applicants will go through Test, Pre-Selection, Physical Verification, Selection, Deployment)
"Only applicants whose BVN records match their applications will move to the assessment stage.
"It is very important that 2017 applicants stay tuned to our social media channels for updates."
The N-Power Volunteer Corps is part of the Federal government's Social Investment Programmes, under which it plans to hire 350,000 unemployed graduates.
