Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa (OSUSTECH) will tomorrow matriculate 832 students for various degree programmes of the institution.
This was disclolsed yesterday by the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof Robert Ogunduyile, when he led the management team of the institution on a familiarisation visit to Owena Press Limited, publisher of The Hope titles.
Ogunduyile commended The Hope for being objective in its reportage and for delving into issues critical to the development of the state.
The VC said his team was in Owena Press to familiarise and collaborate with the organisation so as to bring to limelight the good works being done by government in the institution.
Stressing that the new government is doing a wonderful job in the institution, Ogunduyile said 2.5 kilometres of road has been completed while streets lightning of the campus has been done.
While saying it is a new dawn in OSUSTECH, the VC said there are projects being executed by OSOPADEC adding that in the next one year, most institutions in the country will not be able to compete with the institution.
He said further that the institution now interacts well with the host communities, particularly their monarchs adding that the gap between the university and the host communities has been bridged.
He solicited for the support of Owena Press in publicising to brings to limelight the activities of the institution.
On his own, Prince Dayo Omotoyibo thanked the management of Owena Press for its open mindedness to key into the vision of the Vice Chancellor.
