Be good ambassadors, Mrs Akeredolu urges non-indigene political appointees

The First Lady of Ondo State, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu  has admonished non – indigene political appointees to be good ambassadors of their various communities, and asked them to work diligently and  at all times be transparent in order to justify the confidence reposed in them.

She made this appeal yesterday while playing host to Ondo State Igbos' in APC Support Group in Akure.

She maintained that the present administration in Ondo State will ensure even distribution of dividends of democracy among the people, without bias or favour.

She said" I am very happy you are here today. I will want to be a part of this at all times. You should always be united in dealing with the government, the government is for all of us.

"It is better we follow the path of victory, we should try to work together as one. People should see a difference in any area where they have any Igbo man.

"If we demonstrate our wok well, people will see and embrace it."

Speaking earlier the Leader of the delegation, Mr. Arinze Okafor, thanked the wife of the Governor for her motherly love, care and support towards the Igbo in APC Support Group, adding that the Igbos are now witnessing unprecedented support in governance in the state.

 He assured the First Lady that they will perform excellently in any capacity they find themselves, adding that they will continue to support the present administration in Ondo State.
