Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) has assured the people of Ikare Akoko that his government will do everything possible to make life better for them even as he said no community in the area will be left out in the course of his developmental programmes.
He gave this assurance while inspecting some ongoing projects embarked upon by the government.
The Governor who expressed satisfaction at the level of work being done by contractors handling the various projects said his administration is determined to give the people the best.
He commended the efforts of the state ministry of works for doing a good job.
According to him the ministry is having the best of hands in various fields and can always deliver quality jobs, saying the only impediment of the ministry was that it was not given an enabling environment to perform in the past.
At Jubilee junction, he commended the contractor handling the Victory College/Ugbe road for doing a solid job.
Asked about the duration of the projects, Akeredolu disclosed that government is not going to rush things in order to deliver a long lasting projects.
Some of the projects inspected by the governor included the Oyinmo bridge at Oyinmo Ikare, the Odoruwa bridge, Okealabojuto hill and the Victory College/Ugbe road.
