The chairman of Ondo State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Rev. Ayo Oladapo has admonished Christian faithfuls to remain united, be good representatives of God on earth and be heaven conscious in whatever they do.
Oladapo made this admonishion while speaking at the commissioning of the first phase and foundation laying of the second phase of CAN house in Akure.
He noted that the building is meant to further unite Christians in the state by having a meeting point to gather together. He then tasked Christians in the state to contribute to the completion of the project.
He further implored Christians in the State to promote Christianity and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ everywhere they are.
Speaking at the event, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Gbenga Ale described CAN as a symbol of peace and unity among Christians.
Speaking also, the patron of CAN in the State, High Chief Simeon Oguntimehin, OON, encouraged Christians in the Northern parts of Nigeria to be enduring and persistent in their faith.
He also urged traditional rulers to reverence Christ and always remember that they were enthroned by God.
