The Ondo State government has began construction and rehabilitation of roads in major towns in the three senatorial districts of the State.
According to Mr. Segun Ajiboye, Chief Press Secretary to Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the Governor has mobilised engineers, technicians and other relevant officials of the Ondo State Agency for Road Maintenance and Construction to where the construction will begin.
He said: "Major towns in the three senatorial districts would be affected as work had commenced on the internal and access roads in the Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa, in the southern part of the state.
"The walkways are already being cast, while kerbs are also being constructed just as the components of the car parks are being put in place,"
Ajiboye added that the Owo township roads being constructed by the immediate past administration of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko would be totally completed as work had already begun on them.
Similarly in the Central Senatorial District, Ajiboye explained that reconstruction of the road linking Ilara-Mokin with Ikota in Ifedore Local Government Area was in progress and that the project would be completed in quick time.
