A gubernatorial aspirant under the All Progressive Congress in Ekiti State, Mr Kola Alabi (KA) has donated an industrial sewing machine to one of the victims of the recent fire disaster at Ejigbo Area of Ado Ekiti.
KA who was represented by a chieftain of the party, Hon Gbenga Omole described the inferno as unfortunate, adding that the gesture was to provide succour to the victim.
"It saddens my heart that such incident happened especially at this critical moment when people are grappling with the economic hardship in the country"
He sympathized with the victim for the loss and pledged the commitment of KA to always come to the aid of the party members and less privileged in the state within his own little capacity at all times.
The beneficiary Mr Sunday Omotosho, who could not hide his emotions appreciated KA for coming to his aid, noting that the donation would help ameliorate his suffering.
"I want to thank Mr Alabi for giving me a new lease of life, I had lost hope when my shop burnt down because I did not know how and where to start all over again but with what Mr Alabi did, I cannot but appreciate him". Some members of the party Hon. Tope Olanipekun, Hon Bolu Akomolafe, Asipa Deji Adarabierin and Hon Dele Olanipekun who accompanied Hon Omole said the damage was painful and called on well to do individuals in the society to emulate the good gesture of Mr Alabi.
